Our Parents, Our Classroom

My Brothers!

OUR PARENTS, OUR CLASS ROOM.

I suffered a lot before the Holy Spirit was helped me to understand this truth and since then, I had rest of mind. First, your parents are the best parents ever. It's either yes or yes. They might not be who you want them to be. But you are here today because your parents made a way for you.

It's easy for your gender to pick faults with dad or mum's life but what we have not be able to notice is the wisdom in their mistakes. The mistakes of your parents are the greatest treasure and inheritance. If you loose the touch of it, you will end up being worse than when they have become today.

You might agree with me or disagree but your parents tried their best and gave their best effort. You can sit and judge them for some things but what you don't understand is "the struggles of parenting." You expect a lot for your parents but what you don't know is that they are confused about some issues just like you. They have their own pains just like you. They need love just like you. They can make mistakes too just like you. They have regrets just like you. Your parents are humans with needs just like you.

Don't be blinded by your own greed and fail to learn from their mistakes. It's not all about you, what you think or know. There are lot of things about your parents you don't know because you are not patient enough to ask question, observe and learn from the Holy Spirit.

Take some seconds to think and identify all the faults you see in your parents life. Is that all you can remember? Now, I want you to guard those issues and take those issues to God in prayer demanding for the wisdom on how you will handle this same issue when you become a parent. This should dictate how your study your bible. Have you ever find out what the scriptures have to say about your parents mistakes? And if you have discovered what the scriptures have to say. Don't use it to fight or judge your parents; use it to improve your life.

Pray for your parents. I know mum or dad failed you. Forgive them and develop your self so that your own unborn children won't complain about you the same thing you are complaining about your parents. Your parents are your class room; it's time to learn.

I want you to give attention to all the things your parents complain about you. They don't hate you. They don't enjoy rebuking and correcting you. They are only doing this because they don't want your ignorance to consume you in future. Listen to what mum always warn you about ladies, how your dress and the way you relate with people. You may think it doesn't matter. hmmm... she is not talking about now - she is seeing how your careless attitude will affect you in future. Listen to what dad is always complaining about you. He doesn't hate you; he doesn't want your own ignorance to consume you in future.

I have talked and interviewed married people and I have come to discover - all the things their parents talked about and they thought were just disturbance are presently, the bedrock of their misunderstanding in marriage. THE WORDS OF ELDERS ARE THE SHELTER FOR THE FUTURE. Don't choose to fail or ignore developing your character or capacity simply because dad or mum is lacking in that area. No matter how Godly your parents are, you must develop your own spiritual capacity and walk with God.

It hurts to know the mistakes of our parents but it's most dangerous when you repeat the same mistakes of your parents in future. Instead of judging and condemning your parents, pray for them, learn from them, understand their struggles and use it to prepare your self ahead of time.

The best way to know how to relate and cooperate with your future wife is in how you are willing to cooperate with dad and mum. The fact that you don't understand your dad or mum doesn't mean they are wrong. ASK QUESTION, Listen, pray and see what the scriptures has to say about all these faults you are seeing in their life. You must continue from where your parents stopped. You must overcome in the battles that defeated them and you must succeed in the places they failed. Now, is your time! Don't say no body told you oh! Now you know!

This is the will of God for you!

A Call to Men of Godly Value

In a world filled with endless distractions, men of Godly value face a formidable adversary: the relentless assault of distraction. Satan cunningly employs various tactics to divert their focus from discovering, preparing, and deploying their original purpose and assignment in Christ. But in the face of this onslaught, there lies a call—a call to stay steadfast, vigilant, and committed to the divine path set before them. The Battle of Distraction Distraction comes in many forms—be it the allure of material possessions, the pursuit of fleeting pleasures, or the busyness that engulfs our daily lives. Each distraction poses a threat to the clarity of purpose and the fulfillment of our God-given calling. Discovering Your Purpose Central to combating distraction is the pursuit of discovering one's purpose. Every man of Godly value is uniquely crafted with a divine purpose—a purpose intricately woven into the fabric of their being by the Creator. Yet, amidst the chaos of life, it's e...

THE PURPOSE OF A MAN

A man is not just a male by biological configuration—he is a bearer of responsibility, identity, and spiritual leadership. Genesis 1:26 says, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion...” The first description of man was not a title or a role, but a likeness—a reflection of God's nature and authority. To be a man is to carry the weight of divine intention. You were not made for survival; you were created for significance. So, who are you when titles are stripped away? What remains of your identity when applause fades? Why is a man needed? Because order demands his presence. When God formed Adam, He placed him in the Garden to “work it and take care of it” (Genesis 2:15). The man was God’s steward over creation, a governor over environments, and a cultivator of purpose. The world groans not just for more males, but for true men—those who will take responsibility, create solutions, and preserve values. Have you asked yourself lately—what am I culti...

Men! Say No to Gaslighting

My brother, you were not created to be anyone’s emotional punching bag. You are a man made in the image and likeness of God, crowned with dignity, purpose, and strength. Refuse to settle for emotional manipulation masked as love. Gaslighting is not love—it is control wrapped in confusion. When someone constantly makes you question your reality, your worth, or your sanity, that is not your safe place; that is a toxic trap. “The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble” (Psalm 9:9). It is not prideful or unloving to walk away from consistent abuse and dishonor. Love does not cancel your humanity. You are allowed to have peace. You are allowed to protect your heart. You are allowed to say, “This is not healthy for me.” Don’t feel guilty for choosing growth, healing, and emotional stability. Even Jesus walked away from places where He was dishonored (Mark 6:5-6). If He didn’t stay where He was not received, why should you? Sometimes, the guilt you feel isn’t the...
